Family portrait of father, mother and two children

The

EXPERIENCE

We don't work from templates. Every Kin & Co. session is built around your family, your home, your taste, your people. The process unfolds through a curated experience and ends with family-centric artwork.

A CONSIDERED PROCESS

No. 1

Consultation

A Zoom call to understand your family's dynamic, your aesthetic, and where artwork might live in your home. We talk through what you're drawn to visually, answer every question, and lock in your date.

No. 2

Creative Direction

Before your session we develop complete creative direction, wardrobe curation, lighting references, mood imagery, and a set of prompts designed to draw out genuine moments rather than stiff poses. You arrive and we take care of the rest.

No. 3

The Session

Your session takes place in our Toronto studio, a relaxed environment with a mix of intentional posed shots and prompted candid moments, building toward images that feel both crafted and alive.

No. 4

The Reveal

We meet in person to view your images together for the first time. You'll select your favourites and choose your artwork. Prints, albums, gallery walls. This isn't a digital file delivery. It's the moment the work becomes yours.

Family portrait of father with two children

We make space for the real moments to arrive. Direction is light, deliberate, and always in service of something true.

LIMITED TO
Two Families Each Month

We keep availability limited because every session deserves that. If you're considering a commission, reaching out early gives us the best window to do the work properly.
